My three year old daughter loves this story. She seems to be enjoying stories more and picture books less these days. Pinkalicious is age appropriate and fun reading for her at this age. I also find that this book is not as annoying for me to read as some of the other books for kids her age.

Great for a beginner reader. Easy to follow and not too many big words for a Kindergartner. My 5 year old likes this book a lot.

My granddaughter LOVES these books; although she is only four, she is beginning to read. I print out words that are in these books on cardstock and include them with the books. I feel that these books have increased her vocabulary, which is already pretty extensive. I am so glad that Amazon has kept up with the release of these books, and I can always count on getting them in beautiful condition and promptly!

Such a wonderful book for a child. Shows in life we can make mistakes and get people mad at us. Shows how people can forgive your mistakes.

I purchased this book for our 4-year-old daughter who loves to read & absolutely loves everything "Pinkalicious". I really like the Pinkalicious (I Can Read!) series because even though the books are made for early readers, the story lines aren't dumbed down like some other "early reader" books.

In Pinkalicious: Pinkie Promise, Pinkalicious breaks a promise to her best friend, Allison, who then gets mad at Pinkalicious. Pinkalicious, sorry that she hurt her friend, finds a way to resolve the problem. Pinkalicious apologizes and Allison ultimately forgives her. I feel that this book deals with the topics of remorse and forgiveness in an age-appropriate way. It's a sweet story that always leaves a smile on my daughter's face.

The illustrations in this book are really cute and compliment the text nicely. I have purchased a few of of the Pinkalicious (I Can Read!) books and haven't been disappointed yet. Pinkalicious rules!

This book was very appropriate for beginner readers, as well as having a story that teaches about friendship. Pinkalicious borrowed her friend's paint set with one condition, she can't use all of her pink. Of course, Pinkalicious ended up using all of the pink paint, along with white and red that when combined make....pink! This ends up creating an argument between the friends, sending Pinkalicious in search of a way to make things right. This book helps to teach young ones about how to make things right and about forgiveness. Good book!

Example quote: "Alison was coming over to get her paint set."

Teaching opportunity: This is a great moment to remind your children that everyone makes mistakes, but doing your best to set things right is what is important. Discuss ways they could fix certain mistakes that might be made. Share special ways to tell someone sorry, such as how Pinkalicious did in the story.

Nice little book to teach sharing but not a book I would make a must have book. This is the first Pinkalicious. I will look in the store before I buy another one
Update. The first night she only let her Daddy read half of the book BUT I just talked to my granddaughter this morning and she was so excited. They had to read her the book three times last night and then this morning she told the story to her parents. Then I asked her questions about the story line she knew everything down to the pinky at the end.
I guess it is a great book that is made so a 3 year old gets the message and will enjoy a lot. I see now to wait and give her time to write the next review. I will be looking for the next book. Change it to a 5 star
