A holistic approach focuses on all around good health, for which complete, sound nutrition - with limited ingredients and using high quality ingredients - is essential. Natural foods, carefully chosen and meticulously cooked, are the basis of the Pinnacle concept. Our precise preparation and packaging of high quality natural sources of protein, carbohydrates and fats makes sure the full value of our fine ingredients remains intact for your pet’s benefit. The vitamins, minerals and probiotics found in Pinnacle foods are in to provide a balanced diet for complete nutrition. Pinnacle is made with limited ingredients so even pets with sensitive systems may enjoy the fine flavors and health benefits of Pinnacle’s superior ingredients.
A blend of rich duck and wholesome potatoes, combined with the nutrition of oats, flax seed and quinoa, does more than tempt dogs with a delicious medley of flavors. This balanced Pinnacle formulation also meets the comprehensive dietary needs of adult dogs as well as puppies. Multiple sources of high-quality protein plus complex carbohydrates support a healthy body and energetic lifestyle. And ingredients such as canola oil help assure an optimal level of Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids that are so vital to a healthy skin and coat.
When switching to Pinnacle, we recommend that you switch your pet over slowly. This is very important so you don’t disrupt your pet’s digestive pattern. Changing foods will often cause vomiting or diarrhea if not done correctly. Therefore, we recommend a 5-day transition before you begin feeding Pinnacle exclusively. The switch is an easy transition that includes both Pinnacle and your pet’s old brand. For the first two days, feed 20% Pinnacle and 80% of the old brand. For the next two days, feed 50% Pinnacle and 50% of your pet’s old brand. On day 5, feed 80% Pinnacle and 20% of the old brand. On the 6th day, you can feel confident feeding Pinnacle for the rest of your pet’s life. Please refer to diagram below:
