Instant Drive is a virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive application that lets PC users access data from CD/DVD-ROM discs, even if they do not have a CD/DVD-ROM drive connected to the computer. Instant Drive creates a virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive on the computer's hard drive. CD/DVD-ROM data can then be mounted or unmounted on the Instant Drive volume, and accessed by a drive letter, just like a normal CD/DVD-ROM drive. Since the data is stored on a hard drive, access to CD/DVD-ROM data is much faster and operation is quieter. It also reduces power consumption, an important consideration for laptop users.

If this program would do HALF of what it advertises, it might be a good deal, lol----but this so called "software" doesn't do ANYTHING right. I have downloaded all of the so called fixes I could find on their web site, still won't work or constantly hangs up, Oh yea----just try to call teck support for help----WORTHLESS. I threw mine in the trash, I didn't have the guts to re-sell it to someone for a couple of dollars, I still have to look at myself in the mirror.

I bought this SW to burn VHS source material onto DVDs. Prior to burning, the program performs its rendering of the clips. 9 times out of 10 the program hangs after a few hours of rendering. The one time it did not hang, I killed the program since it was only 10% done with a two hour video after 4 hours of processing. The Product is useless!
I am using Windows XP and have 1 GHz Pentium 4 Processor.

I would not recommend the purchase of this product to anyone. It does not perform all of the functions that the packaging leads you to believe. And, tech support is virtually non-existant, so trying to get any assistance from the company is an effort in futility. If you do choose to purchase this product, I sincerely hope that you have better luck than I did.
