My 3 and 4 year old daughters love this story, and we frequently have to read it. One loves the presence of Jiminy Cricket, while the other is captivated from the first to the last page. This is a wonderful classic story, that has been enjoyed by children for generations and generations. Always a winner!!

The teachers and I were very disappointed with the purchase of Pinnochio. The cassette tape was warbley and we had to stop mid-way through and just finish reading the story. The kids were disappointed too.

The fairy tells Pinocchio that if he wants to become a real boy of flesh and blood he must prove himself to be brave, truthful and unselfish and able to tell right from wrong by listening to his conscience.

This attractive little book retells the story from Disney's hit movie, Pinocchio. Each page of the book is filled with bright and wonderfully done illustrations. Accompanying that is text, telling a somewhat simplified version of the story from the movie.

This book is quite good, and my four-year-old really enjoyed having it read for her. It is right on for young readers, using simple text and generally small words. The illustration work is great, looking like frames right out of the movie! So, let me just say that if you love Disney's wonderful movies, you will like this book.

Many thanks to the companies that are still printing these timeless classics adults too love to reunite with: with a book, we can talk to our children about the story along with the story, go at their pace, and expand the universe the story gets us to! DVDs have their good but books can never be outdated! Both are needed and they have a very different usage from each other!

I am eight years old and read the book a year ago.It was good but not the best I've ever read.My favorite part was when the "blue fairy" came out and talked to Pinocchio and made him a human. I thought the pictures were great.
