We are big fans of the books published by Yesterday's Classics. My 6 year old loves to read, and we like to get her classic books that have sophisticated language and plotlines (better than her reading Goosebumps). This translation of the classic Italian story is a wonderful book for her age, full of interesting characters and moral lessons. While you will find lots of printings here on Amazon of Pinocchio, I particularly like how Yesterday's Classics re-sets the type in large clear print, perfect for a child to read. Also, the book is full of wonderful black and white images that enhance her enjoyment. A recommended read!
