5.0 out of 5 stars This band is so underrated., May 3, 2009
This review is from: Pins & Panzers (Audio CD)
This album is so much fun to listen to. Lots of good tracks on this one. I don't know why this band is still so unknown.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good live, but even better in you ear-buds, May 10, 2010
This review is from: Pins & Panzers (Audio CD)
I saw this group when they opened for Freezepop. They were lots of fun and had a good sound, though the levels left their vocals a bit behind. Still, the energy and the synth-beats were great so I bought the shirt and album. I'm so glad I did because as much potential as they had live the album was all that and then some. It is a very well produced album that sounds bigger than they are (yet).

I've probably listened to this 100 times already. I'm still finding things I hadn't noticed before. I particularly love tracks 1, 5, 8 and 9, but the whole album is good. Can't remember the last time I bought an album I liked to listen to all the way through. Yay!

100,000 downloads can't be wrong.

This is really infectious, listeneable pop with, dare I say, "quirky" lyrics reminiscent of "They Might Be Giants", if you're my age, or the "Garden State" soundtrack, if you're Gen Y; and, it's really, really danceable.

I don't mean this as an insult--but this would also make a fantastic workout soundtrack--or just Snoopy HappyDance music.

Their song Just Impolite was in the Comcast Xfinity commercial. If you like that song, you'll love all the songs on the CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Been waiting for this, looking for it..., March 28, 2009

...and it did NOT disappoint. :)
My buddy shared "Just Impolite" with me "I'm not obsessed, just impolite" (love that!) ... and I've been trying to buy an album ever since.
Not a vinyl, though. heh. Maybe buy that too, though; put it on my wall.

Why would you listen to me?
Don't.
However, if you like music that's lyric driven, then...
