I bought this for Halloween (2008) for my 2 year old. I chose it because it was the cheapest pirate costume I could find and I wasn't sure my son would really be into Halloween. It is very cheaply made and I would not say it is durable but if you are buying for a one time wear, I would buy it again. The only suggestion I have is to buy a bigger size than you think because my son is small for his age (he was still wearing 18 mos at the time) and I bought the 1-2T and it was very snug. Don't expect much but you aren't paying much.

Cute costume, quality was what I expected for the price. However, my disappointment was that I assumed since the product is called Pint Sized Pirate Costume Boy Toddler 1-2T, the size would be between 1-2T. On the contrary, the size is actually 2-4T. It was way too big.

My son is 3 and loves this costume! I got him the 3T-4T and it is pretty big on him, and he's a good size 3 year old. Yes, it is cheap, that's why we bought it! But he loves it and has worn it everyday since we got it. I hope it holds up until Halloween! The only thing is that it does not come with the pirate hat. I guess I assumed it would because it is on the little boy in the photo. I was disappointed about that because I think it is what makes the costume! So I guess we will be ordering one. But all in all we're pleased with it for a Halloween costume.

I bought this for my son who was 20 months at the time,the costume was a little snug in the crotch area but he didn't seem to mind.

Purchased this for my son who was 10 months at the time. Purchased it five days before Halloween and was worried that it would not get here on time. Well it got here in four days and fit perfect. My son is wearing a 18 months at the time. We received A LOT of compliments. We paired it with the pirate pacifier which was also a big hit!

I was very disappointed when the costume arrived. It was cheaply made with very thin material. My toddler did not even wear this costume it looked so cheap. I will not purchase costumes online any longer.
