I wasn't too sure I would like flannel sheets as I don't want to be too hot when I sleep however, these are just so incredibly soft! They are warm but not too too hot. They don't even feel like "flannel" that I remember from the old days. The softness is GREAT and makes you really feel like you don't want to get out of bed in the morning! I have a regular Beautyrest mattress with a removable mattress topper and I liked the fact that I did not have to break a sweat getting the fitted sheet on the mattress. They also stay put just fine, not to loose either. I ordered the matching duvet cover also and am pleased with everything. Washed on cold, medium to dry, and did have to empty the lint filter three times during the drying cycle. These are heavenly and the price is just icing on the cake. A good night's sleep is priceless anyway! Amazon's delivery time is unbelievably fast. I ordered on a Monday and received on a Thursday, the same week. I highly recommend this sheet set. It is beautiful and very comfortable.

these sheets are so soft. some flannel sheets you have to wash a few times before they are soft and usable, well these are soft when you take them out of the package. they stay on the mattress well also, they have good elastic to hold them around the edges, wont pop off. i would recommend them.

I got these sheets due to the reviews here on Amazon seemed to be pretty good. Now don't get me wrong as these sheets are OK and ok enough I am not sending them back. If there is such a thing s an expert on flannel sheets then I may just be one (ok so i wanted to be expert at something). I never have a blanket or anything like that and have always had flannel sheets summer or winter as they are light enough to lay on top of me but heavy enough to keep me warm. Most of my previous flannel sheets are heavier than these seem to be. My first impression of them from first week of sleeping with them is that they won't be enough for the winter time. That being said they are as comfortable as any of my other sheets and if you are just wanting comfort then these are not bad.

The seams split open in two corners during the first washing. They are super thin, compared to most flannel sheets. I would not recommend this product at all.

These sheets are excellent in every regard. Nicely cut, plenty of coverage even after a wash and high temperature dry. Don't bother with thin, low quality flannel that pills and becomes transparent after a few washings....This is the way to go. The solid colors are the same weight and quality for a little less...We have both solid and plaid; both are an excellent value!

The Pinzon flannel sheets are very soft and warm, plus the fitted sheet's pockets are deep enough for my new plush-top Sealy mattress. I have purchased mutpl sets for myself and other family members, in twin, full and Queen sizes. Only complaint is the pillow cases in the Queen sets are for standard instead of queen sized pillows, so it is sometimes a bit of a squeeze (but this is the way most Queen sized sets are now packaged).

I love the colors (black, white, red plaid) but the package was a sticky mess! No idea at all what the heck was all over the plastic bag the sheet sets come in. After finally getting it off my hands and getting the sheets out, I was stunned! These sheets were practically see through. I have never, ever, ever had a set of FLANNEL sheets that were this thin. I don't know what happened, maybe the machinery that weaves them was set incorrectly, whatever! I am so disgusted, aggrivated, pissed and peeved that it would be funny if it were not so sad. I have never received anything from Amazon of such poor, shabby, crappy quality before. Dissapointed beyond belief with Pinzon and with Amazon. What is going on there people? Are you trying to drive loyal customers away in droves? If so, you may be exceeding beyond your wildest dreams.

I bought a set of these sheets during the winter in 2007. They were very warm and very comfortable while they lasted, but they did not really hold up. We only used them during the winter months, and by the end of the second year they had worn so thin that a large hole developed in the fitted sheet. The flat sheet and the pillow cases are still in good shape, so I'm guessing the getting in and out of bed everyday wore down the fitted sheet much faster than the other pieces. They were not super expensive, so I'm not that upset. I should have known you get what you pay for. Next time I will try a more expensive set and hope that they last longer.

This is one of those things that has great reviews, but isn't great.

They ARE great when you get them, but after a couple months, they are 'pilled' Which the fabric comes apart and get's knappy when all the loose fibers turn into little balls.

These sheets start soft, but soon turn into little balls on surface. And the little balls are an unpleasant feeling.

I bought a FULL set of these. The fitted sheet is fine but the flat sheet just isn't big enough. When made, the sheet doesn't even reach the bottom of the mattress on both sides, and there's very little to tuck under the mattress at the foot. The cases aren't very long either, not much excess at the opening with a standard pillow in it.
Would NOT purchase again in Queen for my next bed.
