Tired of flimsy steak knives? Tired of sawing like a logger to cut meat? Then get these knives! They look a little intimidating at first, but I wouldn't use anything else for serving steaks now. They're great for the older folks who don't have that much strength to cut anymore. One word of caution, they are not for children!

A quality set of steak knives. I was surprised by the heft. They are well balanced and truly are like those at a nicer steak house. If you wash them in the dishwasher they will tarnish over time.

Got these on a Black Friay purchase on Amazon.com. Turns out the price wasn't a whole lot less than a normal special (shame on me). But the knives are well made, and have good steel quality (high carbon ratio >>> holds cut edge well). Only thing is...I have big hands...but these knives are BIG! I haven't measured them, but I think they've got to be made to cut very large pieces of meat. Overall, I do recommend them because they feel good, work well and are well-made, but next time (next life?) I might consider the size of the implement.

These knives are quality all the way. The box is well constructed and the knives are made with steel all through the handle. I gave them as a gift and then wished I had bought some for myself.

Excellent quality and a tremendous value. The weight and balance of the knives is excellent. Box is strong and durable.

These knives appear well made with three stout rivets holding the handles to the blade base. The blade is very sharp and appears to be very good quality steel. These knives are heavy and quite easy to control. Surprisingly the box is well made, too.

First of all I must clear out that I haven't used these knifes; this review is from a gift perspective only. Some of you might be interested in knowing that these knifes have a "CHINA" embossed label on the side. I wanted to buy a steak knife set as a gift for mother's day and decided to go with these because of the fancy case and the good reviews. Well, nothing says "Cheap" more than a "CHINA" label. I couldn't help feeling deceived because none of the pictures show the side where the label is. Again, this review does not refer to the durability, quality, etc. It is just to make the buyers aware of this (not so minor) detail, as I wish I would have been.
