Pinzon Carving Set in Storage Box

This was a gift for my sister and I opened it and looked at it before I wrapped it. After checking it out, I was so happy I decided to get this for her!

My sister didn't have a carving set and we spend most of our Thanksgivings together at her house. We have struggled without a good carving set for years and we always forget until Thanksgiving Day comes around again that she doesn't have a good carving set. This year I forgot again and we struggled with a puny fork and a regular knife. It was comical, but took a very loooong time to carve up a 16 lb turkey!

Thankfully, my mental note to myself this year worked and when Christmas time came around, I remembered to look for a nice carving set as a gift for my sister.

After looking for a while, I came across this set and I'm so happy I decided to get it. The knife and fork look well made and will last many, many Thanksgivings!

The knife and fork are nicely packaged in a really beautiful, heavy wooden box.

While we'll miss the fun and laughter we had while carving the turkey up without the right tools, I know that using this set will help us ensure we put hot turkey onto the table now!

My sister seemed very pleased with the gift and commented on how nice the set was. I got a big kiss on the cheek for this!

This was purchased to have a set in the drawer for christmas and holidays etc.. It is not a $500 knife so lets not compare it to that. This knife and fork work perfectly. The fork is very well built, better than my expensive set, and the knife is sharp and works perfectly 4 times a year and then back in the drawer. Good product, no rust very sharp and cheap. Good buy for occasional use.

This fork and knife set are the perfect size for most applications - turkeys, ham and other medium-sized meats. They fit well in my hand too. My favorite part was the box - it comes in a very nice wooden velvety box. I've used this for months now and have had no issues with rust or the handles coming apart. Quality seems pretty darned good for the money. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

Pinzon offers quality merchandise at a very inexpensive cost. This set offers users ample quality for people who are trying to make ends meet... yet can fit into even high end households.

Granted this is NOT of "Chef" quality - I say, "who cares!".

For $ 19.00 who can go wrong!

I ordered this knife set for my husband. and it just an okay knife. It isn't a carving knife. It has preferated edges(like a bread knife). I kept it because I hate the hassle of returns. but I wouldn't call this a carving knife.
