The diamond matelasse coverlet is dry clean only. It wrinkles and holds the wrinkles of its being packaged. It has a nasty sheen and feel. It does not breathe. I would return it if I could. As it is I'm going to have to DRY CLEAN it to put it in the yard sale.

This coverlet is poorly made. I returned my purchase. I was really excited because online the stitching looks great. However, when I received it I took it out of the package and was severely disappointed. To start the stitching was crooked and the back side of the blanket looked unfinished. It was like they cut a big piece of fabric and folded over the edges and sewed a quick hem. Because of that you couldn't fold over the coverlet because it looked unfinished.

I have been looking for a dark grey coverlet and coordinating shams for several months now. I was skeptical at purchasing this one off the internet as I was unsure the color of the actual product would hold true to the picture displayed on the internet. So over the last several months, I have gone to all of the major stores (Macy's, Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, JC Penny's, Sears, Von Mour, Herbergers, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc, etc, etc) and most of the grey's that I saw were all to light. The very few dark grey coverlets/shams were at a minimum two to three times this price and I did not like the designs. So I decided to take my chance on this and I am glad I did. It is the right color and it's simple design pattern will compliment almost anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that this thing states that it is dry clean only. Although, looking at the product's materials, I would imagine that washing in delicate cold and hang drying wouldn't hurt things any. All and all I am very happy with this purchase.
