The diamond matelasse coverlet is dry clean only. It wrinkles and holds the wrinkles of its being packaged. It has a nasty sheen and feel. It does not breathe. I would return it if I could. As it is I'm going to have to DRY CLEAN it to put it in the yard sale.

This coverlet is poorly made. I returned my purchase. I was really excited because online the stitching looks great. However, when I received it I took it out of the package and was severely disappointed. To start the stitching was crooked and the back side of the blanket looked unfinished. It was like they cut a big piece of fabric and folded over the edges and sewed a quick hem. Because of that you couldn't fold over the coverlet because it looked unfinished.

These are great---and the price is great as well. Soft---sort of knit-like. Nice looking. Pleased w/ them.

I liked the way this coverlet looks classic and clean in white, but still a bit modern because of the pattern. It's more for warmer weather because it's fairly lightweight, but it looks really good on the bed.

The comforter is very thin, so if your husband is like mine he'll think it's great. But I have to pile on two more blankets to keep warm! The color is so dark brown I thought it was black! I have a dark brown leather headboard and in the sunlight the colors match okay, but at night when I turn the lights on the comforter looks black again. I think it's dry clean only, but I'm going to take it in and see if it lightens up at all.

This coverlet is highly over priced!! It should be about $19-25.00 vs almost $80. It's very thin, which would be fine in the Summer. The stitching is so crooked it instantly looks cheap. It's not just the border stitching, but the entire blanket has a jagged, cheap texture to it. It's one sided with the stitching exposed on the bottom. The color is a light gray and the picture shows it a bit darker then it is in person. I'm sending it back because of the stitching and the cheap material. This is NOT a blanket that would last for years to come. Keep looking. You can do better for this price range.

purchased the Pinzon diamond matelasse shams, coverlet, and boxspring cover. I absolutely love them. Very nice quality, thick and soft. Much better than those sold at popular retailers, and for a much better price. Highly recommend! Beautiful product!!

I ordered the Pinzon matelesse and pillow sham. They are great looking and good quality in the crisp white. Perfect for adding a monogram!!!

I was skeptical, how could these sheets be any good...? Not only was all detail well done, but they wash better than Frette and better than the more price competitive Restoration Hardware linens, meaning when they come out of the dryer they are less wrinkled. And one can get away with not ironing, even better!

I have mixed feelings about this coverlet and sham set. They are not sold as a set, but I bought the shams to go with the coverlet. Upon putting this on the guest bed, I immediately felt the Pinzon was sharp, giving the room a nice clean, modern look. I was ready to give it a five-star rating. The price is great too -- $70 for something that makes your bed look pristine! Some people complain about the fabric being too stiff and holding creases and wrinkles too much, but after a little bit of use, that problem gradually goes away.

Given the fact that I bought it in white, I shouldn't complain about how dirty it can get, but the dirt does stick out. Also, the fabric seems really delicate. Threads have already come undone, and after little use (I've had it 3 months with 5 overnight visitors), it appears a bit tattered if one looks closely. I am glad it is in the guest room, as I don't think it would hold up well with everyday use. Plus, it is "dry clean only," so you're not going to want to be taking this to the cleaners every few weeks.

If you are the type to ever sit on the bed to tie your shoes, or occasionally sit on top of the covers to read a book, I advise you not to do so with this coverlet. After I have done so, I have realized days later that the part of the bed I sat on has noticeably lost some of its perfection.
