5.0 out of 5 stars quality item
Thicker and even softer than the last 400 t.c. cases I bought. They wash well and are a delight.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pillow cases
The fabric is nice on the pillow cases, but they are made with seams on both the long sides instead of one seam on the short side, and one on the long side. This leads to face creases. It is not the traditional way to make pillowcases and is inferior to most.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent pillowcases, some issues, August 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Pros:
1) They're clearly high quality.
2) They're nice and thick.

Cons:
1) The eggshell color has a slight green tinge to it. It's barely perceptible, but I notice it against all of my other stuff that's off-white.
2) Perhaps because they're high thread-count, they have a slippery feel to them that I don't like. If I sweat at all at night, they feel almost sticky.
3) They wrinkle like crazy, even if I put them on my pillows right out of the dryer.

These pillowcases are very well made; strong, sturdy, yet soft and comfortable. I would most definitely recommend them! Well worth the price.

Contrary to Pinzon's claim that these pillowcases were made in Portugal, they are not. They are made in China. I'm very disappointed about that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great price and nice item, December 17, 2007
These are amazingly soft right out of the package. Don't know how they'll hold up after washings, but so far impressed. I buy a lot of high thread count sheets and these did have the "wow" factor. For the price... excellent.

The material is good but they wrinkle so bad even with ironing the wrinkles are visible. I would not buy these pillow cases again. The color is way off also compared to the photos. I ordered Chestnut and instead of brown shade they have a taupe green tint. Not brown at all.

2.0 out of 5 stars WRINKLE, WRINKLE LITTLE STAR, August 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
TWO LITTLE STARS. EITHER HANG THESE UP WET OR IRON THEM. IF YOU GET THEM OUT OF THE DRYER BEFORE IT STOPS AND QUICKLY SMOOTH THEM OUT THEY AREN'T TOO BAD. IF LEFT EVEN 5 MINUTES YOU CAN'T SLEEP ON THEM UNLESS YOU WANT WRINKLED SKIN IN THE MORNING. COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL,THEY ARE WELL MADE AND THE STANDARD SIZE FITS MY QUEEN PILLOWS WITH 6" TO SPARE. BUT THE WRINKLES.....I'M NOT INTO IRONING. I HAVE 400 COUNT EGYPTIAN COTTON CASES I BOUGHT AT TARGET THAT COME OUT OF THE DRYER LOOKING ALMOST IRONED. THESE ARE JUST SAD.

2.0 out of 5 stars pillow cases, September 1, 2008
These pillowcases are pretty and they are satisfactory, but I really expected 400 thread count egyptian cotton to be silkier and softer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Coarse fabric, January 2, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered these based on the reviews and the price and am very disappointed in how rough the fabric is. Having felt these, the reviews citing high quality are inconceivable to me. I would never have bought them if I'd been able to touch them first. They are rougher than any other bed linens I have. I haven't even used them yet; I'm repeatedly washing and drying them in hopes they'll get soft enough to use. Buyer beware- if you're going to have something touching your face, make sure it's soft. Wish I had.
