I continue to be impressed with the quality of the high end products in the Pinzon line (see my reviews for the bamboo towels, velvet flannel, etc.). I ordered this bedding collection with sheets, duvet, shams, etc. and the fabric is high quality, the craftsmanship is very good, and the extra touch of the reversible shams (which you can't really tell from the pictures) were a very nice surprise. It coordinates very well with chocolate and lighter browns if you've got those colors already in your room. I took it out of the dryer promptly and avoided ironing which is always a plus for me. I have paid a lot more in the past for this type of quality.

Bought this and the matching shams for my king sized down comforter. I really appreciated the luxuriousness of the fabric and the lovely contrast of stripes on the reverse side of the duvet but I was disappointed on 2 counts:

1) it was so huge--both the duvet cover and shams. I even doubled-checked the packaging to make sure I didn't mistakenly order a California King size. There was a lot of excess fabric along the sides and at the bottom of the duvet...so much so that my standard-sized king comforter was swimming around inside and constantly shifting and bunching up. As such, it didn't look as nice at the picture indicated. Same with the pillows.

2) the colors of the sham and duvet didn't quite match each other. It was almost as though they were not dyed in the same batch--the shams were lighter in color than the duvet. The color was less blue than I was hoping for too...more of a lilac purple.

I had been looking for the "right" duvet for months, and i found it in this! the picture is detailed, but it looks much nicer in person. it's soft, easy to clean and, the best part is, none of my animals leave and claw marks or little "hooks" with their nails. And, you can't really tell from the picture, but it's reversible!! i love it! i bought some matching cream sheets and it's such a warm and inviting place. totally worth it. i got the king and it is perfect.

I just received them yesterday so this may be a little premature but they look and feel great. Very high quality material and the reversibility of all the items is also a major plus. I am very tempted to order the complete set in the other color.
I spent one "whole" weekend looking for a duvet cover online for our new down comforter and finally decided to take a chance on this one.

I just got this cover for my wonderful clean, new down comforter. After much looking around and reading other's reviews, I decided on this one. First for the color combination and secondly for the thread count and size. I have an oversized queen comforter and this cover fits it perfectly. It is soft and silky right out of the package and looks beautiful on the bed. It adds a sophisticated look to the bedroom. I highly recommend this item for the design as well as the quality of the product. The buttons are nicely hidden and it was very easy to insert the comforter inside. I love this cover and made a great decision!! Everyone should get this!!

Really, the fabric feels luxurious and shouts "expensive!" The colors (taupe and cream) are beautiful and fairly true to the picture. I have been on a hunt for the perfect duvet cover for months. I've shopped many stores including Pottery Barn but, at half the cost, this cover is twice the style and value. Perfect for creating a layered, monochromatic bedroom.

I love this duvet cover but was unaware that the color French Blue is more like a pale lavender. It's subtle in the photos, but against my distinctly blue bedroom walls, it's very noticeable. Despite this contrast I kept it anyway. The duvet styling and quality is such a great find that I'd rather paint my bedroom than continue looking. Also, the "brown" is very muted and nearly gray. Overall, very nice and a great compromise when your husband doesn't tolerate "frilly" bedding. Only washed it once so far so I cannot comment on durability. Had the color been "blue" it would've received 5 stars.

I bought all new bedding in this pattern, and I'm in love with it. It has the look and feel of really high end fabric. The color hues in it are interesting, and I've still not found everything I want to go with it. Some blues and taupes that I think are spot-on, aren't, and I accidentally put a soft, muted lavender pillow next to it, and it was perfect. But it's all part of the fun of decorating and discovering what works and what doesn't. Somehow, the colors are peaceful. I walk into my bedroom (months after purchasing), and I'll just stand for a couple of seconds and drink it all in.

it is a great duvet cover. It is beautiful and easy to take care of. I am so glad I purchased this entire set!

I was expecting a nicely handcrafted duvet for the price. It is made of a cheap and very lightweight material. I would be nice to say it's even 100 TC. The deminsions are bigger than stated because the cover is huge compared to my duvet of the same size. The supposed chocolate color is not solid, looks more of a deep gray and the blue more of a light gray. So if you have the blue and chocolate theme in mind, do not get this one! The only thing I can say positive is the size.
