Just got this coverlet from Amazon. The quality seems good - heavy and well sewn. I intend to use it for summer in place of any other kind of blanket, and I think it will be fine.

BUT, the color is nothing like what's pictured. I ordered sage - something light and airy for summer. The picture shows what I consider to be sage - a very pale green, almost a light mint. The ACTUAL color is what I can only describe as Air Force green - it's the color of the ugly green bed spreads we had in the barracks when I was in the Air Force. I'm very disappointed but am not willing to go through the hassle of returning, and paying the return shipping costs, since Amazon will claim it's not their error, though I think they should have pictures which more accurately reflect the true product. I almost got the beige/ivory, but another review said the color wasn't right on that either, so I guess I should have expected not to get something that looks like the picture. Disappointed.

I brought home the Chocolate Pinzon Matelasse Full/Queen Coverlet and Shams for the bed based on color alone. I have some beautiful Pinzon Damask Stripe sheets in Federal Blue and thought it would look good together.Pinzon Damask Stripe 440-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen California King Sheet Set, Federal Blue And wow, did this combination look great together.

After getting this home, and pulling it out I was suprised by the quality of this product. It was very thick and heavy. The design and texture was great and the color was very rich. It really warmed up the entire room and added a much more sophisticated look.

Even when my girlfriend arrived and saw the coverlet she was amazed. All she could do was run her hand over it again and again complimenting me on my desicion. She said that everything about it was perfect. The color, the texture, the quilting, the pattern, etc. She found herself walking back to the room a few times just to see it again. She was suprised and more than happy with the entire set. The set really imressed her and made me look good. (And she is picky)

The stitching is flawless and the mattelasse pattern is classic. I love the sage. It's a perfect way to instantly update your bedroom without spending a lot. I also have the matching shams.

I Love This Coverlet! Fits My King Size Bed Much Better Than The Others That I've Had In The Past! The Red Color was a Bit Different From The Website (More Blue Red) Than I Wanted But When I Got It On The Bed It Worked Out Pretty Good...Nice Weight & Workmanship...Overall A Great Purchase for The Money!

I received the coverlet and shams as a wedding present and it fits very nicely and is nice and thick. The stitching is consistent versus others I have seen at stores with poor quality design and construction. I am very happy with my set and have received many compliments!

I bought this chocolate coverlet direct from Amazon, and I'm so glad I did. The design on it is lovely, and the color is warm. The quality is very good. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased the sage color. Being an on-line purchase I was nervous about the color coordinating with my bedroom decor. The color is similar to Olympic Paint's "Light Sage". The woven design has scrolls and leaves. It covers a queen size bed nicely, however there isn't quite enough length to tuck pillows under the bedspread. I ended up ordering the matching shams to make up for this. The materiel is 100% cotton, and it is a nice thickness for layering. I like to use an electric blanket in the winter, and a light weight bed covering in the warmer months- this is the perfect weight for that. I have been looking for months to find just the right bed spread- this was exactly what I was looking for. The pictures don't do it justice. And for this quality the price can't be beat.

The Taupe is quite a bit darker and greener than shown (I thought it would have been a little more on the "beige" side, but that's the risk you take with ordering online). However, I am so in love with this bedspread. It has stood up to a month of our two-year old messing with it already without a fray. We even sleep with it on as it breathes so well and keeps our temperature perfect- not too hot.

I ordered the Queen size Sage coverlet. I love it. Arrived quickly, good quality construction, washed well, fits my very thick matress as a coverlet should and i LOVE the color - unlike one reviewer who thought is looked like military green, mine is a lovely true "sage" color. It is slightly darker than that shown in the picture, but I'm very happy with the color. Goes great with what I'd planned it for. Highly recommended product.

I was very pleased with this coverlet as far as workmenship and quality were concerned. The color I ordered was sage and it is different than pictured, more "minty" than sage, IMO. I decided to keep it anyway because of the great price and quality.
