I purchased the 12x12 album. I thought I was going to be a scrapbook because it was called a 12x12 memory book. It also recommended that I purchase 12x12 page refills (which I did.) Today it arrived and it was a photo album with slots for photo not scrapbook pages. I also now have 12x12 page covers that do not work in the album. I not very happy. Someone needs to change the description of this product because it is deceiving.

The front window is a nice touch and the overall size is great for fitting in with regular sized books. Pages are easy to fill and it has handy note margins. We take quite a few pictures and so have bought several of these (different colors) which is handy to differentiate seasons or years.

Nice cloth cover, with a pocket to hold a CD. Also comes with a clear plastic dust jacket. But I don't like the printing on the pages, which I find very fussy. There is a pattern in the photo pockets that looks like something you'd see on a check or inside a "privacy" envelope that I really dislike. I prefer memo areas that are just simple and unobtrusive. I got a black, red, green and blue one. All the colors are nice, and the quality is good, but I'm sending them back because of the page design.

Great for scrap booking will last a long time. Have used this brand many times, the photo frame on the cover make it stand out from the rest and gives you a nice way to personalize it.

I really love this! the color is very vibrant but very pretty at the same time. the quality is great and it's easy to extend and add additional pages. Very nice!

I know, you are going to say you just read someone's review saying it is an album - I did too, and needing an album, ordered with confidence. But a scrapbook arrived. So I contacted the seller, and their return policy requests that you return the albums in the original box with the original mailing labels and put that box perfectly untouched inside another one... Well, they just made it too complicated (I thought what mattered was that the product was intact, but anyway) and I couldn't return. Had to buy refills from another company so I can put my photos inside, and the tiny differences in size make it look not so perfect in the end.
It's a nice album (I mean, scrapbook!), but since you don't know what you are getting, I would skip it altogether.

I purchased this album in January 2011, and everything about it is as advertised. I was slightly concerned by the one review saying that this 12x12 album didn't exist, but after I realized that the review was from 2008 I took a chance and ordered it. It is very easy to get a photo in and out of the front frame, and the top-loading pages are a breeze to use. I don't have a need to expand it yet, but the spine does expand an additional 2 inches. I also found it particularly helpful that the album came with a sheet listing all of the compatible refill products.

We bought this as a gift for a close friend to keep special beer recipes in and they have really liked it. It was delivered to us in a fast manner and packaged very well. I also have a smaller version in green that I bought 6 years ago and it is still in great shape.

This color of scrapbook is AMAZING. It`s your classic 12x12 scrapbook album but i would recomend it for the purple :)
