Hopefully, this is not a duplicate review, as I posted one earlier that did not show up.

I now have about 15-20 of these albums. They are the best I have used so far. Amazon has them priced cheaper than I have ever seen them as well.

The albums have individual pockets to hold photos and can accept as large as (3) 4X6 's per page side. However, this page side can alternatively hold (1) panoramic per page side. Excellent flexibility.

What I also like about the pockets for pages instead of the magnetic pages, is that you can stack more than one picture in pocket. I do this when I have doubles that I have not given away or pictures of a similar topic matter, just not as good as the ones on top. Due to my way of storing pictures; all pictures go in an album, negatives elsewhere (in a box for 35mm and in an Advantix photo keeper for the APS negatives), this makes it handy to store all the photos you took, not just the ones you want to display.

Since these pockets only open toward the binding, this keeps any pictures from falling out. Only on few occassions with handling with my kids, have any pictures been jostled loose. The plastic is not very slippery to pictures, while the individual pages have never stuck together.

The only negative, was that with the spiral binding, you can't add or subtract sheets. This forces you often to leave some spots blank, if you want to limit an album to groups of negatives. However, given the cost of the album and the durability of the spiral bind (versus a more flexible system), this is not too much of an issue.

I think I own 4 of these albums now and they've stood the test of time and are quick and easy to fill. The 'bi-directional' pockets allow you to place both horizontal and vertical pictures 'right-side-up.' No turning the album sideways to look at the pictures. Since each pocket is 'bi-directional' you don't have to relegate the verical pictures to special pockets designed for vertical orientation or struggle with magnetic pages. The spiral binding has not come undone and the pages are reinforced and designed well for easy page turning. There's memo space in the margin to record places, names and dates. The pages also hold panaramic pictures but you will have to turn the album sideways to view these. The only problem that I've had with these albums is that the pictures do slide a little sometimes, requiring a bit of repositioning but do have not fallen out.

We have a whole library of these books, I am on volume #27, have been using these since high school...20+ years ago, they are durable and easy to flip through on a rainy day!

These albums are very nice, I have a 10 of these albums and plan to purchase more. They also look very nice in your bookcase.

The Amazon listing for this photo album specifically mentions the color White in the title of the item. I ordered three of these and received one white and two red albums. When I called Adorama who fulfilled the order, they said the order was sent to them as random color. The Customer Service rep mentioned something about the SKU being different for random colors versus white. When I asked customer service how to place an order to ensure I would get white, they said I could not do that on Amazon even though the title of the item displays White as the color. The rep assisted me with making an order directly with them on the phone to ensure that I would receive white albums. Unfortunately they could not match the shipping price and tried to charge me 14.95 for shipping even though I only had to pay $3.00 per album when I ordered on Amazon. They finally got my shipping down to 7.00 which is still one dollar more than I would have to pay if I ordered on Amazon.

So the album itself is fine quality; definitely worth the $8.29 sale price. I'm just unhappy that I now have to go to fill out this return form, go to the UPS store to return the two red albums. I'm sure it will take them up to two weeks to process my refund. I don't know whose fault this is, Amazon or Adorama, but its false advertising. Adorama said they would follow up to ensure the listing was corrected.

I am not a fancy scrapbooker, I just wanted a book that I can put my photos in so we can actually LOOK at them. Since I went digital I have not printed pictures. This is perfect. (They are definately not high-end, just really functionable) I also feel at peace because these books have been around forever, just classic, so I know that when I need more they will still be around.

I have been archiving the past 25 years of photos in these albums. The pockets make them easy to use and the sidebar for notes helps me keep track of the events and places and years. I recently went back through all my past albums and all the photos are clean and undamaged. I will keep my photos in these albums forever.

Have a couple of those pocket albuns now and will for sure buy more. They protect your photos very well and keep them organized.

Product arrived with bent coils, which made turning the pages nearly impossible. It seemed to be very cheaply made and would not recommend this to anyone. I was just looking for something cheap, but this is barely functional - I decided that it was better to buy something a little bit more reliable since otherwise I would probably end up replacing in a short amount of time anyways, so I might as well spend the money on something decent and not have to replace it.

I ordered a white 500 count photo album for my wedding pictures; I received a red 300 count album. Did they not look at ANY portion of my order before they shipped it? I see from other reviews that I am not the only person this happened to. I would not recommend this product or supplier.
