Used this drive to replace my failing one in my Mac G5 dual 2G and it works great with all the apps and its faster than the one I replaced it with.
I would recommend for all Mac usres.

Worked perfect. All I had to do was remove the old drive: just press two latches and unplug the old drives cords and put in the new one and within minutes I was burning again. I paid $32 on Amazon and it took me about 5 minutes to install.

Great deal, easy install, drive came in 3 days with free S&H.

I have used earlier models of Pioneer DVD writers (108) for several years with excellent results. This (112) is no different. Good speed, reliable, no coasters with good media. Install was plug-n-play... no issues.
