So far so good!
Overall this Pioneer DVD Burner has performed well. I have had it now for a month and have had no issues. This was an excellent purchase considering the price.

Ships Without Necessary SATA Cable
I'm annoyed that the Amazon description did not mention something that the box pointed out - you NEED an SATA cable - not supplied in the box. Maybe your computer has one available (mine did not). So I now need to either order one ($9 + shipping - ouch) or go to Radio Shack or somewhere. Yes - I see now that Amazon lists this as "often purchased...

This DVD burner is awesome! I recommend it to everyone, sure it doesnt have light scribe but who needs it anyway. Its also SATA so its easy to install, I popped it in and it worked without any problems. The only problems is is that it runs kinda hot some times but its not a big deal.
