This item works just as advertisied; it holds the photo securely, but the photo can also be easily repositioned if need be, without damaging the photo or the mounting board. I did find out that these don't work well on textured material, but then that's not what they're advertised for -- I just wanted to experiment. All in all, a great find, handy to have around, dispenser works well, controlling the number of squares is easy.

Decent for the price, but wouldn't buy again,

The pros are that they definitely helped the pictures stick to the paper and the dispenser is easy to hold.
The cons are that they did not dispense easily, either I'd get two at a time, or they wouldn't stick at all to the paper and I'd have to wait until the roll was completed before going back and manually peeling them off to use them. A lot of scrapbook adhesives work in a way that, if you need to move the picture and you just put the picture down, you can move it without damaging the picture or the paper. Unfortunately, I'd get rips if I tried moving the picture, even if I had just placed it down and hadn't even applied pressure down on the picture. The worst was when the adhesive would stick to the paper or the picture, but not come off the roll, and I'd get little tears in my paper because a section of it just when into the dispenser. It's a good price, but I've dealt with better and will not be buying this again.

These are great for the backs of my pictures-a lot cleaner than a glue stick!
