Great,
This review is from: Pioneer Gm-D7400M Mono Amplifier With 800-Watt Max Power (Electronics)
I have this paired with 2 Pioneer TS-W252R 10" subs. When this amp is properly tuned and matched with subs, it will produce great sound. It will definitely add punch to almost any system.

This amp has been great, has no problems pushing my subs. It's also nice that it can accept zero gauge wire. Small and compact with a great price

I'm pleasantly surprised at the performance of this amplifier, especially considering the price. I'm using it to drive one 10" Pioneer TSSW2501S4 shallow subwoofer @ 4 ohms and the bass hits hard and tight. Install was very easy due to the small size of the amplifier. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic product for the money,

This other guys has an improperly installed amplifier. I have used these in a couple of systems now and it is one of the best values for the money out there. I have used lower end to very high end $1500+ amplifiers in the past so I consider myself a decent judge of quality. Its size is a good bonus for tight spaces and overall quality is outstanding for the price.

The amplifier is small, a lot smaller than my previous 960 watt Kenwood, but pushes my subs with about the same power, and great clarity. I'm not winning any noise competitions, but I can feel the bass in my chest. This has never overheated, I would buy it again.

Good amp, but a little under-powered,

I don't think this amp comes close to it's advertised RMS rating, but it would do okay with an 8" or 10" sub. I have it on a PG RSD12 and it just doesn't push it like it needs to be pushed. The upside to this amp is that it is VERY compact, has great features, runs very cool, and puts out a good amount of power for it's size. If you're just looking to add some solid bass to your ride, it's a good, economical option. If you're looking to pound bass all day long or enter competitions, it's obviously not going to do well.

I bought this amp because space was a concern. It had to fit in a Lexus GS400, inside the dash, above the glove compartment, where the old CD changer was. No other amp would fit in such a small place so the form factor was good. Since I had a Pioneer head stereo I though matching the make could only be good. However the problem is that this amp emits some strange background sounds, even with the engine off and the volume at zero, (a high pitch morphing sound, and a low droning one) which I still have not been able to resolve. Other than that it hits good and it is descent for what it was designed for -- driving sub woofers. Changing the factory sub to a new one may help with the noise though I have not tried it yet.
