This series of photo albums is my absolute favorite. I have 22 of them in my living room. The pages hold in well and don't tear out like some cheaper imitation brands. Also, there are no rings like in other albums that damage the inside edge of your pictures. Having the little memo slot above/below the pictures is great - it's easy to read the memos in that location, and the depth of the album in your bookcase stays small, unlike the ones that put the memo lines next to the pictures. The plastic cover that comes with the album helps to protect it from water if you lay it on your coffee table. Also, over time, the album pages don't stiffen or thicken due to humidity. (I've had these albums about 18 months, and they've held up very well.) I'm very pleased to see this album available on Amazon.com! I'm a bit over the edge in taking care of my pictures, and this really is the best quality album I've seen. I only wish I could find it in a plusher, gold- or silver-trimmed variety as well. I decided to review the navy blue color album because I think it looks the best, but I own several of the other five colors as well, and they are all just as good!
