The Pioneer ND-20PA is a Christmas gift for a family member. We installed it December 30 and so far it works very good. We installed it with a Pioneer Stereo 3200BT. Only thing I wished they would supply better instructions with the unit as to the options of wiring but with a little patience and finding the install instructions for the 3200BT the job is complete. The red power wire gets constent power and there is a purple wire out the back of the 3200BT stereo unit that gets connected to the reverse lights power. Now it works in reverse as well as being able to view the trailer as we travel down the road. This unit not only assists you to park, it works great for hooking up to the trailer.

Worth the cost in reduced aggravation,
This review is from: Pioneer ND-BC20PA Universal Rearview Camera With Parking Assist Visual Display (Electronics)
I bought this camera for its "Parking Assist" feature (indicated by the "PA" of the model number BCP20PA). At least with my compatible Pioneer Nav unit, the camera projects synthesized amber bars projecting back from the sides of the vehicle on top of the video picture to help align you with the parking spot sides. It also synthesizes and projects red, yellow, and green bars perpendicular between those amber side bars so you can see how far you are from an object behind you. You can configure the camera as to how far back those red, yellow, and green bars appear. Many new factory-installed vehicle backup cameras have this type of functionality, but this was the first aftermarket camera I found that does.I have a 20 foot+ long crew cab truck with a topper that blocks my rearward view. So I have always had problems trying to back into a parking place where another car was immediately behind mine with the two spots separated only by a painted white line. If the space was tight, I used to have to stop at least once, get out and walk to the back of the truck to see how much room I had left before hitting the car behind me, and then finish backing up. I set this camera so that when the synthesized red bar on the video feed touches the white line at the rear of the parking spot, the truck's rear bumper is reliably around 6 inches in front of the line. No more having to get out of the truck to see if I'm going to crunch the car behind mine! It's made parking in a lined lot or parking very close to a garage wall far less aggravating. The camera's picture is very clear and is surprisingly wide angle in both horizontal and vertical planes. Although it does not have an Infrared assist light, it still does a good job at night just from my truck's backup light. I've had the camera for three years without any problems. But if it ever died, I'd buy a new one immediately. It's pricey, but just flat works. And it's far cheaper than hitting something - or someone - behind you.

I think all these cameras are way overpriced, but it works, is in color and works well.
