Bought the DEH-P410ub for my girlfriends 2006 civic, installed this system using Scosche HA1561DGB 2006 Honda Civic DIN and Double Din Kit with Dark Atlas Grey Color Matched and is currently powering 4x Polk Audio DB651 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Silver) This head unit provides great clarity and sound quality. The stereo allows every gain and frequency adjustment to be made from the head unit itself, otherwise id have to pull my 2x Infinity Reference 1252w 12-Inch Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer (Silver/Black) in order to make adjustments. Three RCA outs are included, for SUB and speaker AMP outs. The head unit is refined and sophisticated in appearance, unlike the other juvenile-looking alternatives in the market.

Be careful when choosing a Car stereo for your iPod touch/iPhone. There are many receivers out there that have iPod compatibility, however alot of them wont work with the iPod touch/iPhone. I have tested, this is indeed compatible with iPod touch and iPhone (Play tracks, playlists, charging) everything except make calls. An added perk is that you can disconnect the included iPod cable, and play songs from any USB Mass Storage standard device, the stereo can play music from other MP3 players as well as flash drives and SD cards (with a USB adapter). If possible, connect your device via the USB port, instead of the 1/8" AUX jack on the front bezel, this will allow the stereo to internally process the tracks digitally, for better sound quality, and discrete connectivity (e.g. inside the glove compartment) and to enable tracks selection to be controlled by the head unit, instead of fiddling with the MP3 player.

I installed it myself. It was easy. When I first heard it, I was amazed. I noticed a major difference much better sound quality then my stock stereo.
No regrets. Nice price and very cool. I recommened this stereo.

This is a great tuner for you ipod. I ran the included cords (has a usb extentioin cord and an ipod usb cord) to my glove box so I just leave it in there. No need to mess with it at all as the redeiver also charges your ipod. My next test is going to be with one of the passport external hard drives with 140 gig of music to see how well it handles it. I have read elsewhere that it does a good job with externals. One thing that is kind of a pain is the shuffle feature. It wants to shuffle all the time so I am going to have to dig through the manual to see how to control the shuffle better, its like it is the default setting for the ipod of something. This has a lot less buttons than other tuners which I like, but they didnt cut any features. Buttons do multiple tasks and the volume knob turns to select settings. Lots of power on this one too. Seems like a quality unit and the only one I have seen that has a two year warranty.
I had an alpine with ipod control that was the bigest pain in the a**; this Pioneer is smooth and easy especially for the price relatively speaking. Got one for my wifes car too. I like having the same unit in all vehicles so I dont have to try and remember what does what, just listen to the tunes.

Only had a slight problem with the speakers crackling at the default eq, that was fixed though by some adjustments. Other than that it is an excellent product.

I purchased this stereo for my bfs birthday and it was the perfect gift not only that this stereos better in real life then the picture and they gave you 2 yr warranty with a control the stereos sound is good quality and it comes with the ipod adapter so yes I would indeed encourage people to buy it for you gift or whatever it's worth the money

I have had this for about a year now and its an excellent receiver. Well worth the money.

Very clean sound and easy to use controls. The stereo comes with the cables necessary to use an iPod or other USB source routed through the back, but it also allows for a 3.5mm mini connection in the front. This is a great head unit for the price.
