Designed specifically to match the appearance of Pioneer's PureVision flat-panel plasma TVs, the all-aluminum S-VSL6C speaker gives your home the high-end audio it deserves. The unit, which measures 13.75 by 4.94 by 4 inches (W x H x D), is ideal as a center channel speaker, or as a single speaker in a two-, three-, or even four-channel surround array. It's also versatile enough to mount either vertically or horizontally on the included table stand or on any nearby wall using the supplied bracket. The versatility extends to the 3.25-inch cone woofer and the 0.75-inch high-efficiency soft dome tweeter, which combine to deliver a frequency response of 90 Hz to 40 kHz. The rich, elegant audio makes dialogue--the main function of a center speaker--sound terrific, while also adding texture to music and movies.
The speaker also boasts an acoustic suspension design for tight, accurate bass response, along with a maximum power rating of 130 watts. Very nice. I wanted something that would produce more sound at a better quality than the speaker I had. It didn't produce more sound, but I ended up turning the gain all the way on the center through my receiver and the sound is better than what I replaced. Very good. Thank you very much.

Pioneer The King,

I bought this center speaker to compliment my new pioneer digital receiver. And the sound is unbeatable. I replaced an RCA 200 watts rms center speaker. And though the pioneer center speaker is only 130 watts rms it puts out sound 100% better than the RCA center speaker. You can hear the voices much clearer. It also produces fantastic highs and creates a much more full base when combined with my subwoofer and front speakers. You will have no regrets if you combine this center speaker properly with your other speakers. Buy one. Try it. You can always return it if not satisfied. And by the way it can also be used as a front or back speaker. It comes with the hardware to stand the speaker upright. Another great feature is that the case is all solid aluminum. Also the wire terminals accept banana plugs. And lastly, " They look great ".JQJR
