I Love These Headphones!,
This review is from: Pioneer SE-DJ5000 Dj Headphones (Electronics)
These are my second pair of these headphones. My first pair lasted me 10 years through traveling in my record bag to many venues. I love these headphones even though they are an older model. Being a female DJ I find it hard to have headphones fit my head comfortably, except for these. Great sound. I have played many a great set with these, and for the price you can't get any better. I would definitely recommend Pioneer SE-DJ5000 to anyone who is seeking a lighter, smaller headphone with professional sound quality. As always Pioneer is a good choice for DJ equipment.

Been DJing at clubs with the same pair for 8 years. Excellent.,
This review is from: Pioneer SE-DJ5000 Dj Headphones (Electronics)
I've been a DJ since 2000, and these were my first pair of serious headphones. I've blasted countless hours of music through these and they've held up beautifully. The wiring is in tact, nothing has broken, they're still in great condition. When we throw parties, my friends ask to borrow my headphones for their sets. For 8 years I have had no complaints. The only reason I looked these up again is because I'm going to buy a pair for my friend for Christmas. All around excellent product.

Pioneer SE-DJ5000 Headphones,

This review is from: Pioneer SE-DJ5000 Dj Headphones (Electronics)
In 2001 l got these headphones when l bought a DJM 500 mixer and two CDJ 1000 plyrs.
Since then the cable has had problems and l fixed the cable problem fitting a metal circlip on the cable holder within the speaker cup. I have played 20 to 40 gigs a year since 2001 and these headphones still go fine. A few times over the years when changing sets the next dj on has used the SE-DJ 5000 phones to cue up the next tune and commented on their quality. The noise cancellation when cueing is superior to some phones l have tried. l have usually folded them and packed them in to the pioneer roadcase and had no problems with damage to the swivels or cups. If you can afford quality, treat the phones reasonably, these phones should last. l only own one set of headphones, these pioneers - l am considering get a Technics pair as a spare. Hope this helps.
