This book is a collection of anecdotes and incidents which were carefully researched as far as known records permitted nearly eighty years ago. We have undertaken in this print to select and organize the stories in a way that leaves the reader with a lasting impression of the early pioneer's life. The cover design displays a feather for the early Nevada Indians, a mining stock certificate for the gold and silver excitement, a fan for the ladies of the mining camps, a gun and powder flask for the pioneer day violence, and a portrait of the first Governer of the State of Nevada, H.G. Blasdel. The books dimensions are 81/2"x11". There are approximately 162 pages.
