I was very pleased with these speakers, especially the price! Great for the money!

they sound great, can go a lot louder than the company installed speakers. can actually here the bass in music now along with better treble.

This small loudspeaker was exactly as advertised, no low bass but a smooth mid and high range. It was fairly priced and delivered on time. It suited my need for a very small space.

This speakers are so good for the price! OEM replacement fits without any problem! the sound, the bass, everything its great!!!

Got this a bit back to replace my older speakers (on Subaru Forester 2000, and don't listen to amazon saying it doesn't fit, back speakers are box-standard 4" speakers).

These speakers don't have much of base response, but what do you expect from 4 inches?
The sound for mids and highs is great though!
They cost a bit more then I thought they should, but they do the job very well.
Installation was easy as well.

Recommended.

Don't know what's worse, these 4" Pioneer speakers or the 16 yr. old factory speakers they replaced. They "bottom out" with the slightest bit of lows/bass & produce, what I can best describe as, a tornado swirling from eardrum to eardrum with a hot-mess of piercing treble that's neither crisp nor clear. I ordered the 3 1/2" Pioneers (TS-A878) as well, which happens to be "technically inferior" in comparison but have impressed me so much, it somewhat lightens the disappointment of purchasing these speakers...somewhat!

When I saw these on Amazon for $20 less than any walk-in store, I was skeptical. However, upon receipt, these are the exact same speakers you'd find at BestBuy or anywhere else. I've since installed them in my car, and I'm enjoying the crisp sound and powerful beats they deliver. I recommend this purchase.

Don't sound much better than the ones I took out. Not the fault of the speakers just the size and the environment ( an 85' Celica convertible) Although I have an 86' Toyota pickup with the same size speakers and they sound pretty good. Figure that one out.
