i got these to replace the original 4x6's in my 1986 chevy caprice landau and they sound good i have these hooked to the cd player. i didn't need a amp for these and they still sound good i think they're the best for the $ they're very inexpensive compared to store prices and don't listen to store sales man when they tell you things like why not have them now they only took 3 d*** days! so i recommend these to anybody. i have 2 p3's and they sound good wit' them no matter how loud i turn them i can hear every word nice and clear not all distorted either

I have a Chevy Aveo, the 3 doors model. I change my stero for a Sony Xplod. In about two weeks my original back speakers explode literally.

I didn't want to make big change in my car, I just want to install a pair of speaker with the same Inchs. Well, I found it in amazon and I installed it myself on the car.

The sound is incredible and bass sound perfect. If you don't want to explode your ears and the neighbor ears, this pair of speaker fit excellent.

The price was the best around. I made sure to do some price research for this product and couldn't find anyone who sold it for less.

Product:

These speakers put out very clean sound for their size. I used these speakers to replace the dash speakers on a 1998 Chevy S-10, Single Cab. I wanted to perform a comparison, so I replaced the left speaker first so I could hear the Pioneer's against the stock speakers. The difference between the stock speakers and these Pioneer's were like night and day:

-Highs: Crisp, clean, and loud. These speakers mixed and EQ'd properly with a decent head unit do and will sound amazing. High hats, pops and snaps are heard crystal clear with these speakers.

-Mids: Warm, loud, and clear. Vocals and midrange frequencies are very warm and clear, allowing the listener to hear word for word the lyrics in the song.

-Lows: Clear, smooth, and clean. The bass was balanced perfect in the songs that I listened to. No clipping or unusual noises were heard when the frequencies went below normal.

Shipping:

Shipping was fast and expedient. Product was shipped on time and in a timely manner.

Summary:

I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade their speakers on a budget but still wants good quality sound. Like I stated earlier, these speakers EQ'd with a good head unit will produce amazing sound.

These speakers have been a tremendous improvement over the stock speakers. I paired these with a pioneer head unit and pioneer 6X9 in the rear. The sound output is great. The bass is awesome and the sound overall is very well balanced. A great purchase and I definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy this size of speaker.

I purchased these speakers to replace the old (cheap) manufacturer dash speakers in my 1998 Jimmy. They have made a huge difference in the sound quality. The highs and clarity are excellent. And for the price they were a steal.

These sound better than the factory speakers. They are a little crisper, and can handle any amount of power from a stock headunit. And a great price!

I always loved the sound and bass from Pioneer speakers and subs, and still do. But some idiot decided to remake the outside edge of the speaker. The smaller Pioneer speakers now come with a plastic rim to mount on the outside of the speaker (bad idea) This plastic retainer is held down by some microscopic screws. I don't think they can withstand the constant vibration over time. Hopefully mine will. If you want an easy install dont pick these speakers, If you don't mind duct taping your woofers they're a sure bet for great sound.

I put these in the doors my 03 regular cab Silverado about a year ago, and have never looked back. They sounds worlds apart from the cheap paper speakers that were there from the factory! I was doing almost 2 1/2 hour drives (one way from work) and stuck in my truck alot. These speakers along with the Alpine head unit and Pioneer TSA1782R speakers I put in the doors made a wonderful difference. Its like I was re-learning songs, hearing things better and more clearly then ever before.

I was hesitant about ordering something I hadn't heard, but once I got them, I've never looked back. My friends and I are almost all now running similar speakers in our trucks. Cant wait to amp these and see how much more they come alive!

These are very good speakers for the price but they would not fit my 1990 Cadillac Deville. I had to go with the G series speakers instead.
