Pioneer TS-A6983R 6-Inch X 9-Inch, 440-Watt 4-Way Speakers

I bought these speakers to replace a set of kickers that were 5 years old and cracking. I'm using a 500 watt crunch amp with them and they sound great! Tons of bass and very clear sound no matter what volume. No cons whatsoever

I got these at Fry's for $39.99 - over $100 off! Unfortunately, my truck didn't come with a 7-speaker sound system. There are only 2 speaker holes available and these 4-ways sound excellent!

Bought these to add to my new project, but ended up that they sounded so great that i just had to swap them out for my current speakers!

After upgrading my basic stock head unit to the Pioneer AVH-4200DVD in my new crossover I turned to the speakers next. Since Amazon had a 30% discount running on Pioneer components I went with these for the front doors and the TS-A1683R 6.5 inch for the rears. Fit the stock mounts perfectly and made a huge difference in sound quality and clarity over the basic stock speakers. Even more so than the nice dash unit did. Even though the HU only puts out 14 watt rms these play very loud with excellent range in all frequencies. Much more impressed with them than the Pioneer 6.5 rears but location and size plays a part in that. If you can fit 6x9 size somewhere in your vehicle then you'll be very happy with these.
