September 6th, 2011, 4 days after installing the speakers...

Okay, so these are my initial impressions on these brand new speakers so far. I will update it after 3 months.

These speakers are just what I was looking for. The sound is crisp and crystal clear. Superb midrange defintion, vocals, guitars, etc. The mid bass is very decent (don't actually need any lower than 125 hz, since I have a good subwoofer) The highs are amazing, I mean this tweeters are really awsome, they reproduce the high range of the frequenzy with no harshness at all. I previuosly had the Polk Audio MM651 coaxial speakers, which are suppose to be a great set of speakers, with great reviews, but I personaly found that they were far to bright and that the tweeters were harsh, so I replace them with these Pioneer Premier and can't be any happier! These Pioneer Premier made a huge difference, they are not bright, or at least not to a point that they get anoying. These TS-D60P speakers are warm not bright and reproduce the input with high fidelity and absolutely no distortion at all, even with good amount of amplifier power driving them and even at high volume levels from the head unit. Currently I am driving them with an Alpine MRP-F300 amp, it's rated to put out a max of 50 watts RMS at 4ohms into x 4 channels, at 14.4V. I have the gain knob for these speaker almost at the max, and its providing them with a lot of 100% clean power, more than I expected. More amp power will just be overkill. I highly recommend this set of 6.5 inch (wich also fits 6/3/4 inch openings), 2 Way speakers, to anyone looking for the highest sound quality for the price !!!

So far so good the speakers sound and perform excellent ! I would say by now they have got out of the ''break period'' ( a normal initial period of time they take to sound to their fullest richness). The sound detail is really good, excelent high frequency repdroduction, cristal crisp tweeter! The mid bass ( like from 100 hz to 300 hz) is really defined and well expressed. The mid to higher frequencies ( 400 hz to 1.2 khz) which include for example the vocals, snare drums, toms drums, guitars, etc, is one of the best, so clear and they fill the space really good. These speakers comes in with a built in crossover, which dristibutes the proper frequency to the woofer and the tweeter, and it does it really good !

Higly reccomed this set of 6.5 inch, 2 way, coaxial speakers !
