IMPP Composite Seamless Cone

An extremely durable, yet lightweight cone is vital to prevent cone failure at high sound pressure levels. Pioneer's New IMPP Composite Seamless Cones meet this need perfectly while delivering accurate yet powerful bass.

Dual-Layer Elastic Polymer Surround

Another world's first from Pioneer. Dramatically improves durability and lightness for superior response, especially for louder volume.

Large Surface Area

A speaker cone is essential for air to vibrate and carry sound to listeners' ears. Our new Champion Series subwoofer cones have 14% more surface area than conventional subwoofer cones, for louder, better bass reproduction.

Single/Dual Voice Coil Design

Pioneer offers single voice coil and dual voice coil designs. The Dual 4 ohm subwoofer has the flexibility to be wired at 2 or 8 ohms, to get the most from the amplifier. To simplify installation even further, all speaker terminals have been placed on one side of the subwoofer rather than on opposite sides.

Air Vent

The movement of air within the subwoofer is smoothly channeled for optimal ventilation to ensure a quick response and clear reproduction of bass.

I replaced my Fosgate Punch 10's when the gaskets blew from around the cone. Yeah I check other subs but the price was unbeatable. The bass is tight and punchy but if you want it to boom, it will do that also. I downgraded from 2 10's down to 1....it's enough sound and boom for my Jetta. I'd recommend this sub to any enthusiast!!!

I bought two of these to run in a ported box in my 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS (4 door). Even under-powered with a 240w amp these things will wham hard. My amp has 1 4 ohm output so I wired the coils on each of the speakers in series and then wired each speaker in parallel with one another to get the 4 ohms. When I'm listening to Metallica or Tantric these things are like having a drum set in the back seat. When I'm listening to Rick Ross or Drake or w/e it's like sitting in a massage chair. For anyone with a Cavalier (or small sedan), I started off with these speakers facing rearward and they were ridiculously loud (which was awesome). I faced them forward (through the back seats), losing some dB but gaining a lot of sound quality. Right now I have them facing upwards which, for me, provides the best sound quality (doesn't have to travel through the back seats) and is still loud as hell.
If you're trying to decide on what brand to buy, everything in my car is Pioneer and is amazing. If you're trying to decide on speaker size, 10's are great. They're small enough to be quick and responsive enough to keep up with a double bass pedal, but large enough to hit. Phenomenal speakers.

I talked with many company's on what to get. I was debating between two subs. Kicker comp vr 10" dual voicecoil 4 ohm and pioneer championship 10" dual voicecoil 4 ohm sub. Both capable of running @ 2 ohms. After hard consideration and learning pioneer was actually a step up from kicker, I bought the pioneer. And let me say wow! Sounds wonderful for the money I payed. And it goes much deeper, better punch. I will Definetly buy this kind again!

I use this sub in a 1.2 cu. ft sealed box. The frequency range isn't the greatest but that could easily be my setup. Packs a nice punch and fills in that much needed Bass.

These are some good built speakers (Mainly rubber) All my freinds get in my car and the first things they ask " what you got in your trunk?" i just smh and say 10's. I got a Celica hatchback and these things hit hard i mean you can watch my car flex from all the air moving around in my cay from the bass.. Im going to need new everything because it hits so hard i would watch my spoiler dance. I got three hooked up in a QPower QBASS103 Triple 10" Compact Angled Box Subwoofer Enclosure to a Planet Audio PX3200D Class D Monoblock Power Amplifier Running my speakers on 2 ohms amp on a little past half gain shaking everything for a two block radius.

These subs have served their purpose well. They provide deep bass and are very well constructed for the price. I have been an audio enthusiast for 20+ years off and on and have no complaints. I would recommend these to anyone looking to add an expensive set of subs to there system.
