An alphabetically arranged list of approximately 5,000 settlers and their families, this work contains the names of all persons mentioned in the records of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts between 1620 and 1650 and in the various passenger lists for the period. Information given in the genealogical and biographical notices includes--where known--dates of arrival in America, occupations, estates, marriages, names and dates of birth of children, and abstracts of probated wills--embodying genealogical riches such as names, dates, heirs, family relationships, and places of residence and death.

THIS BOOK IS MIS-REPRESENTED..MY COPY ARRIVED YESTERDAY AND IT IS A SLIM PAMPHLET, NOT A BOOK, A SCANNED COPY OF THE "SUPPLIMENT" OF THE ABOVE TOUTED BOOK, THE INTERIOR TITLE OF THE ACTUAL WORK READS: "ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS" TO THE PIONEERS OF MASSACHUSETTS". THIS BROCHURE CONSISTS OF ONLY TWELVE [THATS RIGHT TWELVE] PAGES OF TEXT PLUS ORIGINAL BOOK'S INDEX.

This is a pamphlet, and the "view inside" is of a book with more than 530 pages. This was printed in 2010, the one you think you are purchasing was printed in 1900. I am returning this product.

A waste of money as far as I'm concerned. Product arrived well packaged and promptly - but doesn't appear to be what was advertised - IMHO.
