For anyone with an interest in "the gentle art" of pipesmoking, it's customs, history, techniques or technology, "P & T" as it is known to its readers, is the finest magazine available on the subject. Each issue of this glossy quarterly is jam-packed with information on pipes and tobaccoiana, most of which is unavailable elsewhere.

Universally well-written articles mix with an editorial atmosphere redolent of the comforting sensibilities of old friends visiting together to make each issue a minor gem. The reviews of the hundreds of available pipe blends are particularly helpful for the pipe enthusiast (by the bye, the Latin term is Kapisiology---a tip of the hat here to P & T).

Great Magazine for the pipe smoking crowd, has stories about famous pipe brands and the people who make them. The magazine contains a monthly review of new and well established pipe tobacco blends.Is a MUST for the pipe collector.

Of the few choices in pipes/tobacco magazines, this is the best. Well written, lots of good information for beginners, advanced smokers, and hobbyist alike. A great magazine.

A fantastic magazine with great editorials, stories on pipe making and history. A must have for anyone who is a pipe smoker or enjoys collecting pipes.

I like this magazine, the editorials are fun, the articles are interesting, I like cruising the ads, pictures of beautiful pipes. The thing is there is no competition and I like a magazine that caters to my hobby, so it's this or nothing. I still like it and would still be a subscriber if there were competition, I'm just saying my choice is this or nothing. I'd be nicer, because I really do like this magazine and have maintained a subscription of a few years now, but they rejected a story of mine, which I thought, though heavily biased, was a pretty good story, especially given that the previous issue had this Arthur Conan Doyle fan fiction piece, the sort of thing that makes you embarrassed to be a pipe smoker. Holmes fan fiction with an O'Henry ending. I still read and reread that issue, excepting the story, several times.
