Very to the point and well organized reference book. Author has managed to pinpoint what is essential when you are in a hurry and want to refresh your memory without getting buried in a "my equation is bigger than yours" kind of debate.

The title of this book should be Pipeline Calculations Manual, since it focuses on pipeline only. Although it can be used for piping hydraulic calculations, they are slightly different and author should be accurate in title and description for the benefit of potential reader. I give 3 out of 5 to this book.

This book covers a wide range of piping situations, however much of the material is repeated. The book does not cover topics such as K values, but it is a good general guide.

Generally, this book was good, very useful for Field Engineer those who involved in small to medium plant piping design.

To add our knowledge , I though more illustration about complex piping network will much be grateful.

Thank you thank thank you for whoever wrote this excellent guide to Piping calculations. The formulae and calculations are shown with great clarity and easy to follow + use in the field. If you couple this with a CAD program such as the one by Hercule Design then you are on a sure fire winner. Well done!

Book is perfect for my needs.
Great book recommend purchase to others. Will use book on job site as construction manager.

This really isn't a review of the book. Just a place to let the author - or somebody who can get to the author - know that I believe there is a typo on pg 455 on the Temp. derate factors. I'm thinking the T factor for the 350 degree F & 177 degree C should be .933 and not .033. I only looked briefly through it on-line, all I can say is it helped me out and was easy to follow!! I'm thinking of going to get one after I'm done writing this.
