5.0 out of 5 stars A BOOK TO TREASURE!, September 15, 2006

(REAL NAME)
This book is a delightful way to recapture the fun of the original movie. It's packed with large, beautiful color photos of those wonderful children from the circa 1970 Swedish/German films: Maria Persson as Annika, Per Sundberg as Tommy, and the irrepressible Inger Nilsson as Pippi ... the funniest and most natural kids to hit the screen since "Our Gang."

However, some of their adventures include climbing over a cliff, swallowing a fish's skeleton, sailing through the air in a car, hitching a ride on top of a train, bull fighting and (what in the not-so-innocent real world would be very ill-advised indeed) making friends with a perfect stranger ... so better remind the kids: Don't try this at home!
