4.0 out of 5 stars Solid hidden object game November 23, 2013
Verified Purchase
If you've played other Nevosoft games, this is more of the same.

* The art is attractive and crisp
* There are variations of how you find objects, along with mini-games such as finding matches and anagrams
* There is a timed mode which you can toggle on and off

* The dialogue that "advances the story" is virtually always wretched and really just delays playing the game
* The dialogue at times has typos in it
* The animation of the "Mission Accomplished" banner can actually give me motion sickness. I look away when it starts.

If you like hidden object games, this is a no-brainer as the free app of the day though.

I played this with a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and experienced no problems.

This is an entertaining game of puzzles and find the hidden objects or differences. While it is fun it could be a little better with a pan and zoom feature. Some of the photos contain very small objects that can be difficult to find. During the game you go through a journey and you have to:

* Solve word puzzles

* Find the difference in pictures, The pictures are small with no pan and zoom capability.

* Find pairs of objects. The graphics are well done.

* Solve word puzzles.

The game has text to read to follow the story line. The text of the story is slow and tedious to go through but you can tap the screen to skip over the text and get to the next challenge.

I do not like that the game asks you to share your results on Facebook or Twitter. In addition there are pop ups that ask you to rate the game which is annoying.

The saving grace for the game is that the graphics are nicely done and it is a good find the hidden object game and solve the puzzle game. I deducted one star for the lack of the pan and zoom feature and the annoying pop up requests.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Sequel ... August 22, 2013
Verified Purchase
This was an excellent sequel. Lush graphics accentuate the story line, which is a bit long winded, but well worth it. The puzzles are fun but, not too challenging. I found myself seeing how fast I could complete them just for an extra challenge. My fastest time was 7 seconds on the puzzle where you have to find all the flowers near the end of the game. I also appreciate the fact that when you do use a hint it shows you the next item on the list as opposed to a random item, because I am a bit OCD and have to find the items in order. lol. I play on Kindle Fire 1.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much like the First Pirate Adventure January 18, 2013
Verified Purchase
This game continues Jack's quest to return to the island. It is very much like the first pirate adventure, so if you liked that one, you should be happy with this game. They did shorten the dialogue, and there aren't as many mini games, but the rest is the same: find hidden objects, find the differences and find matching pairs. You can disable the timer (turn off countdown mode in options) and you won't get tap penalties. There are 18 chapters, and it took me about 2-5 minutes to complete each chapter, but I didn't rush.
This is strictly a hidden object game, not point and click. The game is nothing fancy, but I had fun playing. The gameplay is relaxing (some may say boring), you don't have to think too much, and it's just a nice game for all ages.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent game... November 23, 2013
Verified Purchase
But whoever writes the dialogue should be made to walk the plank. It's a good thing it's actually not necessary to pick up any clues but skipping the conversations, while less painful, turns this into just a puzzle to puzzle game and not any kind of storied game. I just can't deal with the inane banter, personally. It goes on forever.
Asking for reviews every step lost it another star. If those two massive annoyances get fixed it would rate at least a 4 * rating.

1.0 out of 5 stars mis stated permissions November 23, 2013

Read only access to phone state is completely different than read phone status AND IDENTITY! These devs need to be honest and accurate about what permissions they're requesting of the end user, else I have no trust of their real intentions. This app is too invasive: zero stars

3.0 out of 5 stars Repetative! November 12, 2012
Verified Purchase
The game is tedious and repetative. There is very little challenge in that you find the hidden objects in the same screen over and over. The mini games are simple; a puzzle that you simply spin the pieces around, a match game that you find the pairs, and a fix the vase, the mirror etc., they are all too simple. I didn't grade it lower as it meets the criteria for hidden object; however if you are looking for a more interactive and thought inspiring game this is not it. The is monotonous just like the first one. --- Lizzie Z

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Sequel! November 23, 2013
By dee

I'm giving this game 5 stars because I do enjoy hidden object games that include different types of mini games. (Find the difference, find the pairs, unscramble the words etc...) But honestly I could do without the "story line"! I just want to play the games! Thankfully there is a "skip dialogue" button that appears when you push MENU. The down side is that you have to push the button for EVERY new challenge! But besides this minor annoyance, this is a fun hidden object game with the ability to zoom in and hints if need them. And today its FREE! Can't beat that price!! ;0
