Lovable and kid silly.,

This review is from: Pirate Soup (Critters of the Night) (Paperback)
I have been reading this tattered old paperback to my 5 yr. old son for over a year now (I read it to my oldest son years ago). Mercer Mayers illustrations are just so wonderful. They make both kids and adults love the "bad guys". Erica Farber writes this book with a boatload of kid insight. It is simple and funny and even better when read in a pirate's voice. "What do you do with a Kangaroo?", is terrific too.

This book is so fun. Really cute story line, and typical Mercer Mayer, pictures, It is worth getting it used, I have bought two this way, and am very pleased.
