This review is from: The Pirate (Mass Market Paperback)
Robbins has written a novel about the clash of Jewish and Arab cultures, as well as throwing in the usual sex and other elements you expect from him.
Some people get lost in the desert, including pregnant women, one doesn't make it, but the other's son does, a Jewish boy, who is given into Arab care to be raised. He grows up and wants to make a big Hollywood movie, Arab style. Throw in some terrorist association and organisation for the thriller part.
