I purchased this based on the reviews here, but was very disappointed. You can see globs of hot glue on the ship and the stand is slightly off center, so it's crooked when you sit it on a shelf. Had I seen this in a toy store, I would not have paid 20 dollars for it.

Reminiscent of the old ships in a bottle, this version of the Black Pearl is a great item for collectors of memorabilia from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. A must for serious Pirates collectors.
