Not bad, but nothing special either,

Licensed games and movie tie-ins haven't had a good track record on the DS, which would lead many to think that this one wouldn't be any good. Despite it all though, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End isn't completely horrible, and is a rather solid all around platformer that doesn't offer anything we haven't seen before. You start off being able to control Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann as the game follows the same plot of the film, and will eventually be able to play as Captain Jack Sparrow himself the farther you get. The game itself is a basic 2-D side scroller with the characters rendered in 3-D, much like Tomb Raider: Legend for the DS, and it looks and plays reasonably well. The combat system is livened up by the use of the touch screen in duels, which also works well in the mini-games department, even if the mini-games themselves are a bit disappointing. What stops At World's End from being anything above average is the game's incredibly short length, which is only heightened by not offering much in terms of difficulty. There are some multiplayer modes, a dice game and duels, and they're disappointing as well. Despite all that though, At World's End is still a solid game that is light years beyond last year's Dead Man's Chest, and while it's worth checking out for hardcore Pirates of the Caribbean fans, it's only a rental at best for sure.

At Worlds End isn't really that bad, I have enjoyed it for the few hours I played it, but it gets hard pretty soon. Not hard like boss battles hard, but hard like you have no idea of what to do next. It has decent graphics, but nothing spectacular. I havnt tried the multiplayer yet, but its pretty cool you only need 1 game cartridge for multiplayer.Overall, the game probably deserves higher than 3 stars, but there are too many places where it can get confusing and you dont know what to do.

My eight-year old got this as a Christmas present. It's a little challenging, but that's what he likes. You have to use the stylus when fighting some of the opponents, which is new to me. Takes a little more coordination. I would recommend this product.

I'm an adult player and loving this game! For me it's just easy enough to make progress without feeling bogged down or too stupid to win. It's also just hard enough to make you think a bit - dead ends, certain actions that must be completed in a specific order before a path or doorway will open up so you can move on. I really like that the graphics are well done on the DS and it's a visually attractive set up. Glad I bought this one!

This item is for my grandson. It is a replacement for Christmas. He loves the game and therefore, I know he will be extremely happy that I got this one for him once again. Thanks for the prompt service.

I bought this game used and would agree with other reviewers that if you're interested in playing it, buy it used or rent it. Getting through the actual game play started out easy and got challenging quickly! It was hard enough to hold my attention, and just short of so hard I gave up. It seems like it would be a great game for advanced players who want something new for a road trip or plane trip. It doesn't have enough levels to entertain you much longer than that.
I haven't yet unlocked all the additional features, or had a chance to duel another player. It does allow you to save your progress and go back to do more, plus there's a Liar's Dice game you can play at any time.
