We were so excited about the release of this game. The premise seemed very cool, and promised a lot of fun. In actuality, the game is very disappointing. Its poor graphics and complicated play make for uninteresting and difficult play. Our family players range from 4 years old to 38 years old and the game was disappointing to all.
Don't waste your time or your money.

I rented this game for free and I want my money back. I feel bad for those who actually bought it.
The idea of playing as pirates and ninjas drew me in, but the execution of the concept is terrible. Even with the potential added by the zombies, monsters, and aliens, the gameplay isn't even a little fun. The characters are too small, control of players changes in a seemingly random fashion, and most of the time I wasn't sure where I was or what I was doing. Big thumbs down--if I could give it zero stars, I would.

This game is a cute and fun game. My husband and I played each other and while fun, it can be a little confusing on how the characters change. It would be nice if they were a little bigger.
My daughters really enjoyed the game though. They are 14 & 17. They laughed the entire time they were doing it. Granted, it isn't the best game out there. But if you have children it does make for a great game for family play.

I bought a NEW game for my sons Christmas gift it came in dec 23rd, when i opened it to wrap it i found it was a rental, complete with he rental sticker on it.. It was open, The disk was all scratched and chipped. There was even dog hair in the case too. I tried to call them for a week, no returns no emails nothing.. I even left a message for a Jason who is supposed to be the manager who was on vacation and he has not called me back at all.
I asked for a another game a NEW un open one this time and the lady laughed at me and told me good luck from their place of business.. So i asked for the manager number left a message and still nothing from him..

Pros: Cute characters playing dodgeball in crazy arenas, what's not to love? It's loads of fun that kids can enjoy, too.
Cons: Can be a little confusing at first, but after a couple of tries, you really get the hang of it. Summary: If you like fun, silly games and/or have kids, then get this game! BTW, I don't own this game... have not even seen it [of course, that didn't stop A. Gaite from trashing it in a review]. This review, transplanted from CNET, is by someone who actually has experience with the product being reviewed. What a concept! I just decided to put it here to help counterbalance the useless/inappropriate single-star review given by Gaite. Admittedly, reviews of this title are inconsistent. One site will pan the game as badly as Gaite. Another site will have user reviews with an average score of 7.5 out of a possible 10. Maybe the best idea would be to see if you can rent it first, then make an informed decision to buy or not.

There are scant reviews of this game yet, but what I've found makes it a pass - even for $20. One reviewer said he wouldn't pay $10 for it.
Interesting concept though, eh? |
