Pisces Productions Dolphin II Massage Therapy Chair

I am very dissappointed with my Dolphin II by Pisces Productions massage chair. The company manufacturer, Pisces Productions, claimed that the Dolphin II could adjust to a horizontal postion, but most people find the postion to be uncomfortable. The Dolphin II massage chair is also very unstable in its poor design. It wobbles from side to side while you are working on people and some complain of motion sickness. I have also had the chest and face support slip out while I was giving a massage. Fortunatley the person was young and didn't recieve any injuries. All the clips that hold it together are made of plastic and one has already broke so I can no longer latch the chest and face support. I have had to replace all the velcro straps and I always need my tool set on hand so I can tighten it up. On top of all that the Dolphin II massage chair cost me around $700 back in '07 and it only had light to moderate use. For $700 it should sustain heavy use. The Dophin II does not meet Pisces Production claims of being a "state of the art" massage chair and I highly advise spending your money on a higher quality, lower priced chair some where else.

Bottom line: don't buy this chair

I love this chair! I have had it since I graduated Massage school 11 years ago and it is still going strong and I have had many large people on it. I haven't had any stability problems with it and all my clients say it feels good just to sit in, some even stay in it a few moments after the massage because they don't want to get out of it. I have used and sat in many other chairs and this one is the most comfortable for the client and has more ability to adjust than any other. In fact my experience with this chair is the reason why I also got a Pisces table. This company really thought about ergonomics when they put this chair together and the smeared makeup and drool(LOL)of my clients is the proof!
