good 'ol bluegrass, July 23, 2009

I first heard of The Good Old Boys on Jim Ladds's show on KLOS many years ago. I had taped a section of his show and heard one particular song that I really liked! After the song Ladd said that it was "Deep Elem Blues" by The Good Ol Boys featuring Frank Wakefield and David Nelson off their Pistol Packin' Mama album. I finally searched for the album and found it. It *is* a little expensive but such an enjoyable listen! Love the banjo, fiddle and mandolin! I love me sum' bluegrass!
