This doll is absolutely beautiful. This is a quality doll with quality made clothing. She is 21" which is bigger than the American girl doll, but she is so much more realistic looking and the detail is unreal. It also comes with a code that allows you to play online games with the Karito Kid girls and also lets you choose with charity you would like to give part of the proceeds from the doll to. My daughter loved this doll, and though it's somewhat pricey, I would say it is definitely worth the price especially compared to the American girl dolls. It also comes with a hardcover book with a story about your doll you purchase.

This doll is even prettier then in the picture. My girls (8 and 6) can't wait to read her story and play with her. She is bigger then American Girl dolls in length, but she is just as high quality. I would definitely recommend.

We purchased Pita as a gift for our daughter. She is very pretty and durable too. Her neck is not just attached to
her body, but it is very flexable and poseable. Like the AG, this girl has an accompanying book. Our daughter soon
read it. This girl is just as nice as the more expensive ones, and she is about 21" tall. She coordinates well with
18" dolls. This was a more economical purchase: great quality, great value for the money. We are really pleased with
Pita. Our daughter liked her the moment she opened the package. Who says that you have to pay over a hundred dollars
for a nice doll?

My daughter asked for an AG doll for Christmas. I am not a fan of the AG dolls because they don't really have a doll that looks like my daughter. Karito Kids does a much better job (I think) with ethnic dolls. My daughter did not stop playing with her doll from the minute she opened it; this surprised me because she isn't that into dolls. I was really pleased with the quality, especially the quality of the clothing; most doll clothes are made of very cheap synthetic material and are poorly made to boot. Not the Karito Kids doll clothes.

The one thing my daughter is complaining about is that the doll doesn't close her eyes when she is layed down. This was my one apprehension in getting this doll.

I also need to note that I do not like the book that came with it. Pita a child of privilege from Mexico City and the book makes too big a deal out of this.

My daughter is 6 and loves the dolls she also has Gia and Piper. They are very well made. I like how each doll has distinctively different features which makes them unique. The hair on the doll is weaved which gives it more of a realistic look and also very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this doll/brand over any other similar dolls. It's worth the price.

Her hair's the best for styling. They used a nice wig, so when you braid her hair you don't see the little holes coming out of the head. She can fit in American Girl doll clothes. Great quality. We haven't had any problems. The donation to a 3rd world country is a nice plus.

I got this doll at less a third of the retail price at Tuesday Morning, and I am thrilled at the quality of her! My (almost) four year old has played with her daily since Christmas Eve and I'm in charge of making lots of new outfits. I don't have any of the big name dolls to directly compare Pita to out of the pack, but I imagine that she would hold her own when it comes to quality; I at least know comparing her in box to both Our Generation Dolls and the 18" Gotz dolls, she was by far the most detailed as well as the prettiest of the bunch. The clothes are extremely well made and her hair is full and appears as though it should hold up pretty well. The face and body have beautiful blushing and coloration, and they eyes are lovely.

I will certainly be on the lookout for more dolls from this brand when considering future gifts.
