"Four Roses! When I saw that -The Pits of Passion- is described as a historical romance satire by the publisher I was not sure as to what to expect. Of course, shortly after the first few pages I was laughing so loud that I had to explain to my husband what it was that had me so amused. Even though this is the first romance satire I have ever read, I strongly believe that Ms. Amber Flame did a wonderful job. This was truly an enjoyable story that I intend to read again. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, this one is certainly for you.
