If you love the 'burgh...
I look forward to receiving this mag every month! Pittsburgh is one of those cool, little-known cities and Pittsbugh magazine gives you everything you need to know to have a blast there. And the restaurant reviews and editors' suggestions are right on. Good reading for Burgh fans everywhere

Spiraling down
This used to be a really great city mag, full of humor and style that made it must reading for people in the area. But now it's stiff and unimaginative. Pass on this one.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, then migrated to WV.My daughter moved to suburban Pgh. last year from WV - with her fiance from SW PA area. Gave this subscription to them as an X-mas gift so they could keep up with local happenings, restaurants, etc. It is a quality magazine and they enjoy it and the information it contains.

Pittsburgh magazine is a great resource for anyone living in or around the city, whether you are new or have lived here your whole life. It has monthly restaurant reviews, and features like Top Doctors, Best Restaurants and the Best of Pittsburgh. The annual City Guide is very helpful, filled with listings for everything from shopping and dining to churches and schools.

I feel that this magazine only continues to improve. The writing is fun, informative and irreverant at appropriate times. The stories are up-to-date and shed light on aspects of Pittsburgh life that otherwise may not be discussed, and the photography is wonderful. It's a great mix of serious topics, fun facts and information that helps me discover new things about the city--new places to eat, events to attend, things to see. I highly recommend it for anyone who lives in or loves Southwestern PA.
