I was disappointed in the quality of the print on these towels. Still, I hope to be waving it again at this year's Super Bowl.

My review is unbiased since I'm not a fan of sports or any particular sports team.
I bought this towel for a friend because he's originally from Pittsburgh and a HUGE fan of the Steelers.
The towel looks really cool however; I can't believe how THIN it is. I bought some cheap dollar store hand towels and this towel seems to be cut from the same cloth.

I was expecting near bath towel quality. I read the reviews and couldn't find anyone who mentioned how thin this thing is. I now know it's more of a display item than a "dry yourself off with it" item but, wow. It seems to be pretty cheaply made.
The only way I can give you an idea of just how thin the towel is, is to take two tissues and lay one on the other. Now fold that in half 2 times. That's about exactly how thick this towel feels.
Just in case someone is thinking of using it at the pool, don't bother. It'll be dripping wet after drying a military style haircut. Just display it on a wall or in a trophy case or something because it's definitely eye-catching.

There are a couple nice things about this towel that no one has mentioned.
1. It is officially licensed.
2. The tag on the towel states "A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this item benefits Allegheny Valley School, a private non-profit organization providing residential and therapeutic programs throughout Pennsylvania for children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities."

I figured it was about time that I bought myself one of these. I was really excited when the package came only to realize that the black used to make the print was smudged everywhere on the gold. I'm quite disappointed in the quality of this towel.

You kinda need one of these to rep them in the Super Bowl. I will review the actual towel as soon as i get it. Go Steeeelers!!!

Love this product. I got it as a gift for my sister so she doesn't scream at my tv anymore during games. My family's from Pittsburgh and I was a little worried that a towel from online might look a little off, but this is the real deal. Looks exactly like ones in PA. Good quality. Can't wait to see it in action Superbowl Sunday! Here we go Steelers!

Like Primanti Bros. and pierogis, the Terrible Towel is an icon of Pittsburgh tradition. What a great way to commemorate the Steelers' 75th anniversary! Of course, it'll get plenty of use during the football seasons to come, too. Shipper was fast and shipment was secure. Thanks a lot!

I bought this Terrible Towel for my Steelers-fan husband. It shipped quickly, had easy-to-open packaging, and was in perfect condition when it arrived. No complaints here!

This is a must for all Steelers'fans. It's inexpensive and good quality. I own several terrible towels. If you're a true fan, you must own one.
