The Occipivot is a wonderful device. My physical therapist had recommended it to me and I use it all the time when I get chronic tension in neck. The neck rest is used in a supine position on a flat surface and placed at the base of the skull. As the firm points on the neck rest are placed on the tense areas of the neck, it creates an accupressure effect which releases the tension. I don't review things at all and this is a wonder tool for chronic sufferers of neck pain. Oh, I am also a yoga instructor and registered nurse. As all new remedies, please seek the guidance of your health care provider.

This product offers some relief for the tight neck muscles that bother me at the top of my neck. It's a little difficult to find a comfortable position on it, but once you do, a few minutes a day using it can help

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, I have found the occipivot to be a very useful item. I purchased this occipivot for my own home use, however my clinic also has an occipivot which we use for certain patients with neck pain.

Great product if you have neck or migraine issues..

It may take using once or twice to get used to it.

My Orthopedic Surgeon told me about the cervical Occipivot device and actually gave me a prescription for it! I have had chronic neck problems including arthritis and injuries for many years. He said it sould help my headaches and relieve the stress at the base of my skull.

I bought this to use as a second to pair with the first one I had bought several months previous. The first one I bought went by #1701. This one goes by #4502 (I assume) and the material is slightly softer. I don't know if these numbers are related to a more universal scale of density or simply a catalog reference but they are different. This #4502 is plenty sturdy and does the same job, though, I personally prefer the #1701.

While undergoing physical therapy for cervical spine stenosis the therapist recommended this devise. I have used it now for three weeks and it is just like getting a message. Definitely worth the price.

I've had neck pain for many years and an acute attack for the last 7 months. I've tried everything, and the Occipivot Pad seems to work as well or better as everything else. It does release a lot of muscle tension. My physical therapist recommended it, and it does work.

This was recommended to me by my Massage Therapist/Physical Therapist to eliminate chronic headaches. I am very pleased with the product. It's like having my PT with me giving me a treatment. I have the convenience of being able to take it with me and use it whenever I need it and not have to wait for an appointment!

This is my favorite of all the pivot devices I purchased on Amazon. It really gets those cervical vertabrae to release when you relax your neck while lying on the pivot. I move it around as needed from the occipital area where the neck muscles attach to the skull going down one cervical vertabrae at a time while relaxing for a minute or two, sometimes three! The "fingers" are at the right height to really get into the muscle for a release. I recommend purchasing this one before the cervical pivot as this one does a much better job of relaxing tense neck muscles!
