Surprisingly Panasonic does not have an interval timer for their Lumix GH2 product. This is doubly curious since digital EVF type cameras can take time-lapse photographs with no mirror to move out of the way, making the physical wear-and-tear virtually "0". Enter the PIXEL remote control shutter. It plugs right into the GH2 and does a great job of interval timed shooting. The GH2 takes breathtakingly clear shots at high resolution, making it a serious time-lapse tool.

A well-built and inexpensive interval timer/shutter release for DLSR shooters. I bought mine through Amazon and Studiohut. It arrived quickly, and in perfect condition. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I wanted an intervalometer for doing timelapse photography with my Panasonic GH2. This one seems to do the trick quite nicely. I scanned the instruction manual and was shooting a timelapse soon thereafter. It works. Fun stuff!

I am using my Pixel Timer Remote Shutter with my FZ200 camera. I used it to take timelapse photos of the Grand Canyon, and night shots of the Milky Way. The remote is easy enough to program once you figure out the badly translated instructions. The remote itself is lightweight, but it could have been made a bit smaller and perhaps had a way to mount to a tripod or camera.
The cord that comes with the remote is short enough that if you drop the remote it won't hit the ground when hanging from a tripod. But the short cord can also make it easy to tug on the camera when changing settings or wanting to use it as a remote shutter from a few feet away.

I bought this as a replacement for another brand that failed due to defective buttons. This unit works as advertised but is not very intuitive. The user manual is a direct translation from Chinese with no proof reading. The manual is almost useless. When you get the operation figured out you'll find it quite useful for time lapse photos. This is the most common use. I searched for more info and found several useful articles. The link below is the most helpful but is still lacking. I would have given it five stars if the manual was complete.

The most important button is not that precise. You have to be very careful when pressing the shutter, because the half press (focus) is almost skipped.
Made several time lapse (the main reason for the purchase) and its great for that.
Its limited with the functions of my camera (FZ50) but generally, once you get used to the sensibility of the shutter button, its quite ok.

This interval Timer - the Pixel TC-252 by Studiohut - works EXCEPTIONALLY WELL with the Panasonic Lumix GH2 for interval timing, as well as timed shots and as a shutter remote. Some of the bulb features, and the burst mode features don't seem to work, but I absolutely didn't buy it for that reason, so I don't care.

I read the manual (imperfect English, but a fun read, and got the info. I needed regardless), and was shooting interval shots within 30 mins. Here is my first time-lapse video as proof:
search Y.o.u.T.u.b.e. for "July 15 controlled burn - SW edge of Las Conchas Fire near Los Alamos".

Until Panasonic deems it worthy of a firmware upgrade, if you want time-lapse on your beautiful GH2, you better go with this device. Overall, very satisfied!

I agree with many of the other reviewers that the manual is terrible. I did see where someone found additional information on the web so will check into that. I bought this primarily for time lapse but another use I have for it is "aerial" real estate photography. I'm a part time real estate photographer and mount my Panasonic DMZ-150 on an adaptor screwed into a painters pole rig that I use to take elevated exterior shots. Just set up the timer that I Velcro to the pole and lift up to take multiple shots. Works great. The unit seems pretty well made for the price but still have to play around with the time lapse mode to figure out how to use that better since, again, the instructions are not easy to wade through.
